Course Description

Many people today are familiar with the term "long-term care" (LTC) because they or someone they know is caring for an elderly relative. Others have read about it or seen ads for insurance that pays for this kind of care. As people live into their 80s and 90s, the need for long-term care services has been increasing. Today, living to be 100 is no longer unusual.

The purpose of this course is to provide a thorough orientation of long-term care and Long-Term Care insurance in California. Agents who solicit individuals for the sale of Long-Term Care (LTC) Insurance must complete an eight-hour LTC course prior to soliciting individual consumers for the sale of LTC insurance. This course is approved to provide 8-hours of training and instruction required of all agents who sell long-term care insurance in California.
